About the Comic

World in Flames is a sort of fantasy coming-of-age story about a satyr boy named Torin looking for his sister, Cael. He encounters all kinds of characters along his journey, discovers new things about himself, determines who he can believe, and learns who he shouldn't entrust with his life.

Over the course of his journey a war is reaching its climax. This is the war that is attacking and enslaving his people, the war that imprisoned his sister, and the war that killed his brother. And he, too, will have a part in it. The war is between South Kirsai, land of the dragon-men along with North Kirsai, and Ciandom... and if the tide doesn't turn soon, there are rumours the Kirsaians will declare war on other lands. The intents of South Kirsai's leaders are unknown, but there has been an age-old conflict between South Kirsaians and satyrs. Some say the war began with the gods themselves.

About the Author/Artist

The author, Meg "Atomic Soldier" James, is the co-founder of Azdion Galaxy. When she's not working on something World in Flames-related (which is seldom), she's usually drawing other fantasy things, dinking around with animation (which she is quite bad at), or playing free MMOs.
